What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. Some are essential for a website to work, and others help the owner understand how the site is used.
How we use them
We only use optional cookies if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pe_cookie_consent | Pure Elegance UK (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies | Strictly necessary | We ask again after 12 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart so we can count visits | Analytics (optional) | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | Analytics (optional) | 2 years |
Third-party services
Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which doesn't set cookies but does receive your IP address. If you click through to WhatsApp or Instagram, those services may use their own cookies under Meta's policies.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clicking at the bottom of any page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
