How long does a teeth whitening session take?
Around 60 minutes. We check and record your shade before you start and again at the end, so you can see the difference.
How much does teeth whitening cost?
A single 60-minute Signature session is £99 at our Rogerstone Studio and £139 in Newport city centre. Student, duo, refresh and bridal prices are on our price menu. A 50% deposit secures your appointment, and the balance is paid on the day. Bank transfer and cash accepted.
Does teeth whitening hurt?
No. There are no drills or needles, and the system we use is gentle and designed for low sensitivity. If you already have sensitive teeth, tell us when you book.
How many shades whiter will my teeth go?
It's different for everyone, as it depends on your starting shade and the type of staining. Recent clients have gone from S12 to S8 and from S24 to S18 in one session. We can't guarantee a specific result, but we'll show you exactly how far your smile has come.
How long do the results last?
It depends on your lifestyle. Coffee, tea, red wine and smoking all bring staining back faster. Following the aftercare advice helps your results last longer, and many returning clients book a Returning Client Refresh before big occasions.
Who is teeth whitening not suitable for?
We don't whiten teeth for anyone who is:
- Under 18
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Living with gum disease, tooth decay or untreated dental problems
- Wearing braces
If you're unsure, check with your dentist first. We'll also ask you to fill in a short consultation form before your session.
Will it whiten crowns, veneers or fillings?
No. Whitening only works on natural tooth enamel. Crowns, veneers, bridges and fillings keep their current colour.
Is this the same as whitening at the dentist?
No. Pure Elegance UK offers a cosmetic whitening service, not dental treatment. If you have any concerns about the health of your teeth or gums, speak to your dentist, and keep up your regular check-ups.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Brush and floss beforehand, and come without lipstick or lip products. Let us know about any sensitivity, allergies or recent dental work when you book.
What aftercare should I follow?
For the first 24 to 48 hours after your session, your teeth are more prone to staining. During that time:
- Avoid coffee, tea, red wine, cola and other dark drinks.
- Avoid strongly coloured foods such as curry, tomato sauces, soy sauce, berries and beetroot.
- Avoid smoking and vaping.
- Use a straw for anything other than water.
- Any mild sensitivity usually settles within a day. If it doesn't, let us know.

Our main location is our Rogerstone Studio. The full address is shared privately with booked clients. Newport City Centre appointments are also available at 27 Charles Street, Newport, NP20 1JT, by prior booking and subject to availability.
How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp, call 07852 386591, message us on Instagram or send an enquiry through our booking form. Appointments are by booking only, and a 50% deposit secures your slot.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Deposits are non-refundable but transferable with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.
- Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit.
